Ruby Creek
Some pictures I took a while back, that I thought I'd post at this late date.
First you go down the path.
Then you get to the cabin.
Then you get to
RubyCanyon Creek. And then you cross the bridge and look back.

I *love* the look of that bridge
that's quite a bridge... amazing
The bridges wash out all the time, so trail maintainers just put in something semi-permanent. That bridge could last 50 years, but if it gets washed away, just cut down a tree and make another one.
Here's a detail.
great story!
really cool bridge...
I came across something I think you might like. Not his older stuff (that you can download for free) but the stuff on the site.
Out of place comment: I think of Satyricon as the predecesor/updating (source/film) of Twelfth Night. The fight by the older and more accepting and entertaining culture against the conservative interloper culture/religion (early Christianity in Satyricon, Calvinism in Twelfth Night). But mostly I just love the camera work that defines this Fellini period - this and Roma.
dave was the crackhead holding the camera most of the time!
i agree, that bridge is pretty incredible.
