GOP: The Rootkit Party
This article explains how a multimedia CD being distributed by the Republican party reports back to the party without informing the user that it's doing so.
In other words: If you play the thing, and fill out the questionnaires, that info is being sent back without your consent.

'Cause that's not creepy, no not at all. *rolls eyes* This sounds similar to the illegal phone taps and email monitoring being done without congressional approval...
Sounds like a rather iffy way to gather information (she says, as someone who likes to fill out questionnaires multiple times with different answer sets, to see how the survey-designers reached their conclusions...)
