Come Again Some Other Day
Oh no. Two days of rain in a row.
That means it won’t stop until next March.
“Buck up, little camper… Youv’e survived Seattle fall and winter three times now!”
Yeah, but that which doesn’t kill me just toys with me like a cat with a mouse.

I love rain. But, it’s probably because we get so little of it. My husband lived in Seattle for a while. He said that if you stayed in because it was raining you’d never go out at all!
I was feeling MIGHTY depressed about it yesterday (I have weather-induced depression. While I like rain (it’s cathartic), I need LIGHT.)
This morning, however, I really felt GOOD about the rain. I was thinking how it might help/hinder the forest fires that are raging all over Washington and Oregon right now; I’ve been mighty depressed because of these fires. I’d rather trees continue to grow their rings and old-growth to continue to flourish/accumulate on the forest floor.
I hope the rain is God’s way of saying “Okay. Enough.” If that’s the case, then I gladly sacrifice my typically dry-hot August Seattle weather for our forests.

Rain rain rain…I like rain this time of season. Means Drill Practice gets changed into Music Rehersal. ^^ I know we need the work..but…damn! I don’t like running through drill sets fifteen times in ten minutes, yo!
It can’t rain all the time.
You’ve never been to Seattle, have you, badseeds?
