  • Would it work to put a period?
    .
    Like that?
    .
Kinda silly but does maybe give space.

  • Let's see.

    .If it does..So did it?

  • I've been complaining about this for years. Then they fixed it, and then they broke it again. And then I complained, and no one gave a shit.

  • Hmmm
    .
    Lemme try it here.

    Like this
    .

  • So, the period is on a line by itself

  • or try the HTML code for line break
    left-bracket BR right-bracket

^^I just tried that above, let's see if it works

  • First, your comment here on bigotry is deserving of proper formatting. Very well put.

As to the 'issue', well, I have never had any problems with it.

(Used to hate when my dad told me that after I complained about something not working.

xanga interface looks and acts differently depending on the machine and OS, plus the internet-options settings, For example, I can not get the "choose profile" popup to function, ever. Still looking for what I'm doing wrong.

Where xanga is truly diseased and blithely ignorant of it, is in the "Search xanga" engine. It's infected to the very bones with spam and porno-ads. 95% of the returns are false crap. Try it sometime and see. I don't know "who to call"

(I've hit 'enter' here several times. Now to take a look at the result

  • I don't have this formatting problem.  I don't think, anyway.

Agree with jsolberg about both the bigotry comment and that the Xanga Search engine sucks, and sucks hugely.  I have no idea why, but it is the worst search engine I have ever used.

  • I was going to cut and paste the HTML code from my attempts to do formatting with period. If I paste the HTML, it gets swallowed as HTML. If I convert to escape sequences, it ends up like this:

    <span id="text-1446212599"><p>Let's see.</p>.If it does..So did it?</span>

    Ah well.

Regardless: What that might tell you if you're able to read escape sequences is that it's Xanga fucking up the formatting, not my web browser.

  • Poor Mac users. (Or is it a browser issue?) That DOES look awful. I hate when formatting gets lost in a post, comment, or wherever on the Web.

  • I hate that.

But! There is an edit feature.
