    I have an Utterz account now. Utterz basically lets you call in and do audioblogging from your phone. Very slick. Eventually I’ll figure out how to put it in the sidebar. But for now, press play:

    I’m going to call in and yammer during the rest of my trip.

  • WOW… that was a fun post. I like it! a voice to go with the face… well the kind of face the nose and eye balls… well you get the point.

    A name… I have always gone by Ang… Its the name I have… I don’t think I’ve ever had another one… Angi1972… it is still Ang when people talk to me or comment me… I suppose I would call you Homer.  The idea of giving ones self a name… hmmm…

  • I can tell you that it is weird to name a person.
    I gave it a tremendous amount of thought.
    And yes it occurred to me that perhaps a better system is one of those where we just “nickname” a baby, and then when they are of some certain age, they get to pick their own name.

    A friend of mine is from a culture where, just after the baby is born, an important family member whispers the name in the newborn’s ear. Their name is supposed to be the very first word they hear after being born.

    Names can be strange ;) But easier than numbers!

  • This was fun! Xanga has a new feature where, for a little money, you can change your Xanga name – and everything else stays the same, including subs and history. So, if HomertheBrave is not a good description any more, I wonder what name you would choose now for these environs?

  • A week ago I wrote someone that there ought to be, and most likely already was, a site like that. A pleasure to hear you, now just enable audio comments and we’re set. Problem with the (site) name is that I spent my first twenty years with udders… I could live with it though.
