  • Giuliani

I think I'm going to register as a Republican so I can vote in the primary.

Why? you ask... Well, it turns out that the Religious Right doesn't like Giuliani one single little bit. They want to run a third party candidate to oppose him.

    Go, Rudy, GO!

This via digby, who adds some snark about how the media won't portray the RR's power play as the Republican party being overrun by radicals. Cuz, you know, that's how they portrayed the Democrats being herded by MoveOn.Org.

  • I normally vote Democrat, but I like John McCaine.  Unfortunately, he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

  • I thought that's why they recruited Fred Thompson?

  • What a delightfully deviant idea! I think Guiliani would turn out to be a lousy candidate, so he is one of the Republicans who I hope does well in the primaries.

  • Whoever the republican candidate is, it has to be someone who is bad enough to be beaten by a black man or a woman.  Sorry, but I just think that's a long shot, not that I have a problem with either.

But then, Bush is about as bad as you can get, and he came very close to winning, twice!!  Can you get worse?  I guess you can get less right.  I mean, worse case scenario, Giuliani actually wins, that's not as bed as some of these other jokers.
