Photostroll
Emphasis on shooting very, very quickly while I was on my way to something else. I wanted to fill the card, but I didn’t succeed. I took a lot of surreptitious shots of people, trying to look like I was just holding the camera, not actually shooting anything. Most ended up as crap.

Fantastic architecture shots.
neat shots…
yeah, but, its not like you’re wasting film… so, what’s the phrase? “Shoot – shoot – shoot like you’re Lee Harvey Oswald.”
you have made your own Zoe implant!
but what about that library? A year later (or is it two?) is it still cool?
It is nice to see the library again! I have such a crush on your city. this made my day
The library is still cool. I went inside, and some of the sillinesses had been changed (better signage, rubber flooring replaced with carpet), but still very nice. Still has the feeling of floating around through information, especially taking the escalator up to the reading room on top. The dark red section still remains a mystery, however.
I wanted to spend a few minutes in a cool place, so I went to the photography section (740, which you get to by going up a big escalator, then down two flights of stairs, if you don’t want to walk the spiral), grabbed a random picture book, and sat around for a while. It was a book of grainy black and white photographs of pre-Columbian meso-American architecture. Some of those ruins looked surprisingly similar to the library.
i think your library is about as big as my whole town o_O
It is always fascinating to see how “big architecture” does in actual use.
