Passport
I’ve been planning a trip to Vancouver Island for quite a while. It’s in Canada, you know, which is a foreign nation to me.
So I have to get a passport, now that the rules have changed.
I mean, all I want to do is drive to the north tip of the island. Is that such a threat to national security?

I think you don’t have to get a passport–for a short while yet. But you/we will!
I think we ought to build a fence to keep those darn Canadians out!
The alternative is to learn the secret border patrol handshake.. but it’s not easy to get into the club.
No passport required to drive across until 2008. Only for flying right now.
You can walk from Greece to Denmark without showing a passport, but one is required to cross the street in northern Maine. The funny thing is that Americans think they live in a free society.
