  • Passport

I’ve been planning a trip to Vancouver Island for quite a while. It’s in Canada, you know, which is a foreign nation to me.

So I have to get a passport, now that the rules have changed.

I mean, all I want to do is drive to the north tip of the island. Is that such a threat to national security?

  • I think you don’t have to get a passport–for a short while yet. But you/we will!

I think we ought to build a fence to keep those darn Canadians out!

  • The alternative is to learn the secret border patrol handshake.. but it’s not easy to get into the club.

  • No passport required to drive across until 2008. Only for flying right now.

  • You can walk from Greece to Denmark without showing a passport, but one is required to cross the street in northern Maine. The funny thing is that Americans think they live in a free society.
