  • Maybe The Senate Is In The Closet...

    The Senate rejected the arbitrary, stupid, cynical, bigoted, gay-marriage-banning constitutional amendment.

    As others have pointed out: This leaves marriage undefended! PREPARE TO BE BOARDED, BREEDERS! AAAAARGH!!

    My parents will have been married for 50 years in September. My uncle was never married, though he spent almost as long in a committed relationship. Does either of these relationships detract from the other?

  • Thank you very much.  I currently re-read what i wrote yesterday and when you are in the eye of the tornado, your perspective is clouded.  There are many times where i celebrate Perry's unique take on life and there is not an ounce of me that would like that changed.  I have written about him before and he is my 'Charlie Brown'.  And I have to admit that he is a someone the 'oddball' out.  He doesn't seem to mind when all the guys in his class are playing basketball or predator on the playground and he is building bug houses at the base of a large tree.  I am now reminded of that movie, Lucas.  That is perry.  Anyway, thank you for your comment and taking the time.  It helped nudge me back in the direction I know i should be.
