Sean! Look! A Title!
The problem (if you want to call it that) with spending time looking at detailed maps of desert areas is that you end up becoming fascinated with places like the Owyhee River watershed at the intersection of Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada.
The name comes from a misspelling of ‘Hawaii.’ Seriously. Some Hawaiians settled the area back during the trapper days. One doubts they were very successful.
The place itself is huge and untrammeled (for the most part), and is, essentially, Hell’s Canyon South. The map is strewn with very faint dotted lines with names like Lucky Seven Cow Camp Road.
I’m going to have to integrate it into my travel plans…

I suppose that part of the country has some similarities with Hawaii.

Hey there, just popping in off of a comment you left on the Xanga Administration site. I had assumed that you were not a Classic Xanga user, and chose to see what advertisements might ail you as a higher operating Xangian.
As I myself take advantage of the Premium Plus, I never have any form of advertisement at all, and after visitng your site; I don’t see any here either. Just wondering what exactly you meant.
Further more, after perusing your site, I was happy to see some detailed excursions with birding. After recently moving, I have suddenly found myself face to face with many birds I have never seen before – which has catapulted me into the interest of finding out what species they are. It was an enjoyment indeed..great job!
