    How is it that they got from Seattle to Michigan before I heard about it?

    I'm still bitter over all of the hype and secrecy about the Segway, and that it turned out to be a vehicle that's too slow for the road and too fast for the sidewalk.

    I mean, let's face it, NO city is going to re-build itself to accommodate the Segway, in spite of what Steve Jobs says.

    Ok, the truth: the real source of my bitterness is that it's 2004 and I still can't buy a flying car.
