  • You know what I love?

I love to come home from the grocery store with a bag of groceries and some antipasto from the deli counter, put the stuff away, start some water boiling in the pot, slice up some canteloupe into what a friend of mine calls 'canteloupe steaks' and salt 'em (I'm from the south, OK?), put the hot dog in the boiling water and turn off the burner, plate up the antipasto (that rice-size pasta, chunked artichoke hearts, sliced red bell peppers and olives, oil and vinegar) with the fruit, get a dog bun and slather it with a bead of mustard from the squirt bottle, wait around a while for the dog to get plenty hot, pour the last of the chocolate soy milk in a glass and mix in some plain soy milk to fill it up, fork that dog out of the water and into the bun, sit down on the couch with this plate of food in front of me, and watch 'Kill Bill Volume 2' on DVD.

  • Ha ha ha. Yes!

I am amazed at your interesting choice of food here. I heard antipasto salad, and thought salmon, or pasta on the side, but no...YOU had a hot dog! Ha ha. I enjoyed your description of how you like your food. It made me realize (as I am thinking what wierd combinations you chose) that I have very strange tastes too.

So maybe sometime I'll write an entry about what I love....

  • the rice size pasta is oroso and I have never had a salted steak melon...is it tasty like that...antipasto where I come from is fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers soaked in oil, radichio lettuce, geonoa salami, pepperoni, fresh sharp chunks of provolone, supasade, ham, tomatoes, green olives stuffed with pimento and capicola.  Probably sounds as odd to you as yours does to me...we should trade and give the north and south a try...hope you enjoyed...huggs...Sassy
