"Saturday is shopping day
And I drive my car
There's no where to park it
No respect for supermen at supermarket"
Update:
The above quote is from a Peter Gabriel song, called 'Have A Wonderful Day In A One-Way World,' from his second solo album (the 'scratch your face' album).
And guess what? You can listen to it if you want to.
That second solo album by Peter Gabriel always reminds me of the six months I went to the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. I had just gotten my first car (Nissan Pulsar NX. Har.) so I could drive down to the Montrose area of town, I was studying computer science, and I felt like a ghost haunting the school.
I was slowly buying up the back-catalogue of Peter Gabriel and Genesis records, and a cassette of that second PG album lived in my car's stereo. The b-side of that tape, BTW, was Robert Fripp And The League Of Gentlemen. Fripp produced the PG record, and they both came out at about the same time.
Incidentally, Fripp's 'Exposure' album, which came after the League of Gentlemen (and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) has his version of one of the songs off the second Peter Gabriel record: 'Exposure.'
Anyway. There you go. Place and time and music.

right on, daddy-o!
dammit, I should have known that. I've got every one of his old albums in a dusty stack of vinyl somewhere... need to acquire digital copies of all of that!
