In my constant struggle to keep my sanity, I often find word problems to solve. Here's one I just made up:
If you're being investigated by the Department Of Justice, for illegally outing an undercover CIA agent...
And you have a Fellowes 420CC paper shredder able to shred 24 sheets at 30 feet per minute...
And assuming your combination of letter- and legal-size paperwork averages out to one foot per page...
How much paper will you be able to shred in the 10 hours between the time the DOJ announced the investigation, and the time the DOJ says you should tell your underlings to stop shredding things?
Article in the NYT:
[..]
The department notified the counsel's office about 8:30 p.m. Monday that it was launching an investigation but said the White House could wait until the next morning to notify staff and direct them to preserve relevant material, McClellan said.

well, what did you expect from washington? fair play and accountability??
You have too much time on your hands.
Hey can I send them my bills?
Hmm.... "constant struggle to keep my sanity"... Sounds rather familiar. But I know for a fact that I don't have the mental powers right now to do word puzzles...
Take care

About 432,000 pages in 10 hours under absolutely perfect conditions.
Take into consideration time spent arranging into 24 page stacks, removing staples, paperclips and bindings...preping the stacks so you can get a constant feed...shift changes for the person on shredder duty...potty breaks...time clearing paper jams...time to empty the shred bin...having to swap in a new shredder at least once since these suckers aren't ment to run constantly for 10 hours...You'd probably be lucky to break 100,000 pages.
That's why you'd call a professional: http://www.caldocushred.com/
