9/11 report: No Iraq link to al-Qaida

WASHINGTON, July 23 (UPI) — The report of the joint congressional inquiry into the suicide hijackings on Sept. 11, 2001, to be published Thursday, reveals U.S. intelligence had no evidence that the Iraqi regime of Saddam Hussein was involved in the attacks, or that it had supported al-Qaida, United Press International has learned.
“The report shows there is no link between Iraq and al-Qaida,” said a government official who has seen the report.

Yeah, people have been saying this since the second Bush started talking about Iraq. come to think of it, it’s exactly what people were saying about 9/11 and Afghanistan.
If we’re gonna go to war over terrorism it sure seems to me like Saudi Arabia is the front runner with Egypt coming in second.
Of course after the OK City bombing I didn’t see the military attacking Montana so maybe logic can’t be applied to this situation.
Or maybe a military response is illogical.
