  • Today’s music du jour:

Whose Who Are You?” by Klages, Green and Greer, performed by Duke Yellman and his Orchestra.

I was hoping to find some historical info about this tune, such as when and where it was recorded, but no such luck. Maybe I didn’t try hard enough. But my pal m759 will be delighted to know that during the search I ended up at this page.

  • Right you are, Homer me boy. Love the FW site you found AND its parent site AND its brother-, sister-, and cousin-sites.

  • Yo Homes.  Have you got a chance to cruise by  http://www.wfmu.org ?  WFMU (NewJersey) is the most amazing radio station on the surface of the planet.  The have The Antique Phonograph Radio Show, and the Dj spends 2 hours per show handcranking old platter & cylinder players and he has a lot of info on the stuff he plays.  Ask my housemates, it’s my favorite radio show around.  You should check out the show’s extensive archives.  You could endup as guest Dj with your grandpa’s records!
