I haven’t had much to say lately. I’ve been in the land of distraction, thanks to the new cable modem. I’ve been sucking down music files. Fear for me; I found the Library Of Congress.
I’ve also been in codehead land, putting the finishing touches on a free REALbasic plugin I’m releasing, and slapping another, for-pay one into shape. I like programming. It’s abstract in the extreme. It’s haiku for computers; how little can you get away with?

Absolutely!
music files aren’t too bad. it is when you realise that you can get television, so that you can watch a season of it without commericals back-to-back that it starts really getting scary.
A question from Susan The Computer Smarts Deficient: My son just bought some kind of TI programmable calculator, and he’s been downloading programs in BASIC for it. He LOVES this thing. Is that anything similar to what you’re talking about, or am I in the wrong neighborhood?
Wrong neighborhood.
I like the old pics at the library of congress.
